What Does the F&E Sub-Group Do?

We bring the school community together through fun, engaging events that help parents, children, and staff get to know each other. By organising activities like the Fireworks, Summer Fair, Christmas countdowns and the ever-popular Parents’ Quiz Night, we create memorable experiences that strengthen our community.

Why Our Events Matter
Beyond fostering connections, our events play a crucial role in raising funds for the parent council. These funds directly enhance and enrich the learning experience for all students. Here’s how we make a difference:

What We Fund:

• Library Books: Keeping the library stocked with new titles and replacing lost books.
• Digital Learning: Providing access to digital technologies and modern learning experiences.
• Cultural Experiences: Funding a Christmas pantomime and other cultural trips.
• School Equity Fund: Supporting pupils in need through a dedicated equity fund.

Supporting Additional Experiences:
In addition to academic resources, we focus on holistic development by funding:

• Playground and Garden Equipment: Enhancing outdoor spaces for learning and play.
• Outdoor Learning: Supporting hands-on, external school experiences for children.
• Creative Supplies: Providing materials for cooking, crafts, and other creative activities.
• Music and the Arts: Enabling access to musical instruments and cultural experiences.
